| Bio: | My name is Lizabeth Vi and this is my bio. (facinating, no?) I am a debater. A while back, I spent my weekend at a debate tournament in which four debates in a row contained arguments by debaters that specifically said that debaters are not cool, a fact that I whole heartedly agree with. Then again, debaters do have mad verbal skill powers which we often use to convince people to believe whatever we want, thus negating the uncool factor of our geeky debaterness. Don't believe me? Well, if you could hear my voice intonations you would. Stupid internet and it's lack of voice intonation . . . . . ness. *shifty eyes* If you're still here, you must be unafraid of my oddness, or maybe you're just really bored. *shrug* So, I guess it's time to tell you about myself. My name is Liz and I live in potato country. (5 points if you know where that is) Politically speaking, I consider myself a hardcore liberal in my own state, though hardcore liberals here are, at best, considered slightly conservative moderates in other states. It's a conundrum. I enjoy watching/reading anime/manga and watching movies and reading books. I also like to write fictional (mostly fantasy) stories and fanfics. I hope to be a costume designer at some point, but I imagine I'll be pretty desperate for a job on leaving college, so I might take a job at starbucks. I hear they pay well. XD I'm a Catholic and I love discussing beliefs (not just my own) and philosophy (which is one of the reasons I stuck with LD debate for 3 years). So, now time for everyone's all time favorite "get to know me activity," the favorites list! favorite books: Tithe by Holy Black and Valiant by Holy Black (they're both so good. ^.^) favorite movies: Serenity, Equilibrium, Memoirs of a Geisha, LOTR 1, 2, and 3, 10 Things I Hate About You, and Boondock Saints favorite TV series: Firefly favorite animes: Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Naruto, and Escaflowne favorite mangas: Hana Kimi and Death Note favorite band: Apocalyptica favorite food: Curry! ^.^ (I love Thai food) favorite soda: Fruit Punch Fanta favorite Teas: Moroccan Mint, Jerry Cherry, Canberry Blood Otrange, Blackberry Sage, Wild Blueberry, Pomegranate Green Tea, Cape Hope Vanillia, and Jasmine favorite desert: fresh strawberries dipped in white chocolate favorite M&M color: Green. (what is it about the green ones?) favorite animal: kinkajou (mainly because it's really fun to say. Say it with me now, kinkajou!) favorite word: omphaloskepsis - the contemplation of one's navel as an aid to meditation. favorite colors: lime green and electric blue. favorite eating utensil: very short sporks favorite think to wear: red pants. I can't honestly say why, but there is just something about wearing red pants that makes me happy. I'm always in a better mood when I'm wearing read pants. favorite French phrases: Ne me manges pas! (Don't eat me!) Qui vend de la viande! (Who sold you that meat!) Yes, I realize the second one should probably have a question mark at the end, but it was written in our workbooks with an exclamation point and It's a lot more fun if you yell it.
